Replying to yours of the 15th..inst., re the riveting of the ferodo to the aluminium brake shoes, I certainly agree to using fewer rivets. I believe the number was not fixed by us originally, but was done at Derby and probably reduced down from the 40/50., so that there seems justification for trying a substantially reduced number. The special sample rivets for the Raybestos lining which you sent me seem also to be worth trying. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
