Halting the delivery of the 20 HP 'India' chassis pending design alterations following a 10,000 miles test.

We have instructed the Delivery Department not to allow any 20 H.P. "India" chassis to be handed over to, owners until we have heard from you whether, as a result of your conference with R.{Sir Henry Royce}, it has been decided to make any alterations to the design of the chassis following the recent 10,000 miles test. Will you kindly let us know as soon as possible if there are any alterations, and if so, how long these alterations are likely to take, as a number of these chassis are now lying at the coachbuilders about the country and will soon be made into complete cars ready for delivery to the owners.
