PHANTOM OIL RELIEF VALVE.

Arrgt.drg. E.75105.

Springs for release valve should be as follows :-

Main E.75748 giving 3 lbs. 12 ozs. at .600, 4 lbs. 8 ozs. at .475". This spring will give 18 lbs. pressure at 250 r.p.m. and 28 lbs. at 2000 r.p.m.

Rocker and gear E.75751 giving 4.5 ozs. at .525, 5 ozs. at .400. The oil pressure to the rockers will be from 1 to 4 1/2 lbs., to the gears up to 1 1/2 lbs. These springs have been altered due to too high a pressure of oil with springs E.75725 and E.75424.

Pressures taken with oil at 60ºC.
