To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from BJ.

BJS/H16.2.28 - 2 -

desirable as there may be a demand for such a body on our future standard chassis when they include the improvements mentioned above.

This decision somewhat alters our programme for Tuesday next when the Prince of Wales will be photographed inspecting the "F" engine instead of the Sports car, and we shall thereby obtain good publicity for the "F" engine and establish the fact that we are regaining our position in the air world which has been taken from us by Napier's during the past years.

All our publicity in connection with the Prince's visit will be focussed on our new air engine which during the last two years has been and is still being developed by R.{Sir Henry Royce} for the special requirements of the Air Force both as regards speed, reliability and long distance flying.

Bgs. is now preparing the press matter.

PN.{Mr Northey} is arranging the photographs.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} is arranging the platforms round the two "F" engines, one indoors and one out of doors, the engines to be fitted with propellers but not run.

The Prince of Wales will not be shown the Sports car and it will not be mentioned.

BJ.
