-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/KW.31.7.34. With regard to the designs not incorporated, we consider that N.Sch.4122, modifications to propellor shaft and gearbox cross member, and the slipper flywheel, should be incorporated as soon as ever possible. The slipper flywheel is likely to be standardised almost immediately as it has completed 10,000 miles on the Bentley and is running 10,000 miles on 21-G-IV. If N.Sch.4122 is brought on these flywheels will be able to be fitted retrospectively in cases of complaint. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
