Messrs. John Marston Ltd.,
Wolverhampton.

For the attention of Mr.Dunn.

Dear Sirs,

Confirming our telephone conversation of to-day we would very much like you to increase your deliveries of replacement oil coolers. We note that you are prepared to promise 40 per week but would like a larger number than this if possible. We would like you to let us have the absolute maximum of deliveries which you can manage - in all there are something like 400 oil coolers to be converted and we have had something like 140 of these. Since the number which are yet to be converted is limited, i.e. in the neighbourhood of 260 it is obviously impossible for you to send these in too fast, actually we would like a delivery of at least 60 coolers per week. Will you please say if you can give us anything like this quantity; we are relying on you to do your utmost in this direction.

We note that you can continue the flow testing of our matrix blocks if we dispensed with the pressure test at your end, and would like concrete figures on one of our matrices (preferably Bentley) of the reduction in price if we dispense with this test.

Further, we have now decided to standardise Phantom III matrices with bottom tanks dip soldered on by yourselves and are issuing a standardisation sheet accordingly. As soon as the necessary formalities are completed we will get in touch with you about this change. Will you please let us know within the course of a post or two how the extra fixing of the tank to the matrix will affect the matrix price.
