Re. Enamelled Single Paper Covered Wire.
We have come to the conclusion after prolonged experience with the above that it is false economy to use it in preference to D.C.C. (superfine) wire.
The enamel coating is so thin that in the event of the paper fraying, which frequently occurs, the wire insulation is very precarious.
We should be glad therefore if you will arrange to delete it from all our jobs.
