Phantom III Rear Brakes.

We have received reports from France of the seizure of the bell cranks on the carrier plates, of both hand and foot brakes.

This is apparently due, partly to dirt entering the needle roller bearings, partly to the spindle being too soft.

Attached is a sketch of a scheme for preventing the entry of dirt and water. The spindles, G.83901, should be made in stainless steel with a Brinell figure of 302, and the end caps, G.83927, should be made in bronze.

Will you please make 2 sets of parts in this manner, for both hand and foot brakes.

Will you also make one set of 4 spindles in stainless steel with a Brinell figure of 450 approximately.
