It has been found that the shell of the radiator is very flexible on the side in the vicinity of the slot to pass the headlamp tube. On previous designs this gap has been bridged by a loose piece.
On PD.208 herewith we shew a suitable bridge piece, which is also a stay to the yoke. Only existing bolts are used.
The Experimental Department would like a print of the scheme to apply to the radiator of 1-B-50.
