For the attention of Mr.E.A.Evans.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter EAE/SC. of the 15th. inst. giving us the report on our oil sample.

It may be of interest to you that this oil was from one of our experimental cars which had covered 32,000 miles in 3½ months, during which time the oil was not changed and the rate of replenishment was 2900 m.p.g.

The bearings were, incidentally, in excellent condition.

Thanking you again,

Yours faithfully,
For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
