Hobson Ltd., 27 & 29 Vauxhall Bridge Road, London, S.W.1. For the attention of Major Searight. Dear Sirs, Re Multiple Storage Battery C.A.618. We have received letters from the Multiple Storage Battery Corporation U.S.A. urging for the results of further tests on this battery. You will remember that we sent you a copy of our report EFC1/T20.8.20 on certain results of tests of this battery, in which we stated thatthe vibration life test would be made later. The Multiple Storage Co., however, in one of their letters queried as to whether such a test would be necessary in connection with the Rolls-Royce Car, and as the particular battery send to us is quite unsuitable for running on a car, there seems little else than we have already done that we can do with this battery. The battery has been standing for some considerable time but with freshening charges every month. It might be worth while just taking a low rate discharge test to see if the capacity is still there. - This we intend to do. Contd. | ||
