W/N. Br. {T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} c. to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4305 EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} /Thn10/H26.7.22. A.T Re. CARBURATION. With reference to your memo Br2/H25.7.22 re the above, we have not experienced this trouble on cars in customers' hands. We were, however, aware that crude petrol will congregate in recesses such as the inlet port holes of the cylinders and possibly cause carburation troubles. We should like to take an opportunity of discussing this matter with you the next time you are in Derby. In the meantime we are sending a copy of your memo to Mr. Hives for his consideration. EP. {G.
