N/W {London Repair Depot / Derby Works} EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} COPY. Br2/H25.7.22. Re. Carburation. ------------- We have come across quite a lot of cars lately which have a decided "strong spot" in the carburation, and any alteration to the jetc. etc. does not cure this. We find upon investigation that invariably the trouble appears to be caused by the recesses in the inlet port holes of the cylinders having a well where crude petrol congegrates. Probably you have come across this trouble yourselves, and we shall be interested if you will please let us know by return what steps to take to cure this. Br. {T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} | ||
