UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW 2. both from the noise & power point of view. If you won't tell me how far you are prepared to go in providing space & in altering valve timing I can't be expected to do much about it. There being no trouble about space on my own model I expect to increase the power as well as to achieve the necessary silence. The present maximum is 66 HP with a compression ratio which cannot be more than 6 as the comp's pressure is only 105 lb/in². The CC's are 2150. The system used is a straight through Burgess which burbles badly. I have only had time to try one modification which knocks out the burble & has no effect on the power, which is not too bad for a first shot. Yours faithfully John C. Morrison | ||
