re. Chassis GAK-65. Gerald Mere Esq.

We have had very considerable trouble with this owner over many matters appertaining both to chassis and body

We have delivered his car to him and he is now satisfied except on three points :-

(1). Fumes in the body.
We are in touch with Mulliners to carry out certain alterations to the body-work to fit new tight-fitting Sorbo mats to the floor-boards, and if you have any suggestion to make in regard to this which will further improve this feature, we shall be glad to hear of same as soon as possible.

(2). Water boiling.
This customer is going abroad again in January, and definitely puts it up to us that we must prevent him having a recurrence of his water boiling troubles whilst he is on the Continent.
+ Do you agree that we should recommend and supply him with a louvred bonnet and high speed fan? If so are we in a position to instruct and have these prepared? Also is it likely that we shall have any other improvement available for fitting to this car by the time he mentions?

(3). Oil throwing out of propellor shaft.
We understand there is a modification to overcome this trouble. We shall be glad if the necessary parts can be instructed and handed over to us for fitting to this car as soon as possible.

X We believe this is being done in one or two instances.
