To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

RE. LEFT HAND 'SS{S. Smith}' CHASSIS.

With reference to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/M15.1.29 attached.

We recommend that DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} is asked to prepare schemes for these bodies. The fact that the chassis will have central brake and change speed lever may affect the body slightly. We consider we ought to send complete cars to America and not the chassis, therefore the bodies should be made in England.
