1113 To C. from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} SERVICE COMPLAINTS. Hancock points out that shock absorbers which become noisy after 30,000 miles running in a customers' hands are being rectified at the firm's expense. It appears to us to be unreasonable to drive 30,000 miles and expect no wear whatever to take place and in such circumstances the new bushes fitted might be charged to the Customer, unless some exceptional circumstances renders this inadvisable. We appreciate that the R.R. guarantee must be obviously interpreted generously. We should like your ruling on this particular matter. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
