Dear Sirs,

We are obliged by your letter, EFC1/T14917,
re Optical Indicator and enclose a tracing showing the
scale of the diagrams sent you on 12th.

If laid over you will be able to scale off and observe
the maximum pressure is in the neighbourhood of 175 lbs per
sq. inch. Much higher maximum pressures have however been
recorded.

In practice the exhaust and suction work would be
done with lighter diaphragms than for the full explosion
test.

We shall be pleased to see you here on Friday next
if convenient. A Route Card is enclosed. A St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Clowes St.{Capt. P. R. Strong}
tram from Deansgate will bring you down in 5 minutes.

Yours faithfully,
G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Cussons, Ltd.,
