ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To E.T.C. Order No. WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}16 Customer's No. X 8793 Lucas ER6 magneto NO 51. This magneto has now been removed from expl chassis 8EX after completing 14,178 miles running. It is the last of our expl Lucas magnetos to be removed from chassis, (and all the five we have had for test are now in the lab.) This magneto has been dismantled in the lab for examination, and was found to be in excellent condition, the tungsten contact breaker points especially shewing hardly any wear, the surface bedding being good with absence of oxidation.
