105th Meeting
28th Dec.11.

Re Sluggard Car. The Committee were informed that Mr Spinney would finish all his portion of the work, with the exception of the petrol tank, by the 2nd. Jan.

Mr Swetnam had agreed to report on his progress at that meeting, and the matter was on the agenda.

The radiator for this job was at present in the tracing department.

Mr Bailey promised to go into the question of bringing the hand levers toward the centre of the car, immediately.

Mr Barrington informed the Committee that Mr Johnson had agreed to the probable increase in the cost of these alterations to the Sluggard car, mentioned in Minute 2 of the 90th meeting, providing we see a chance of breaking the one hour record, i.e. of running 100 miles in one hour.

106th Meeting
Dec.29th.11.

Re Cover for Governor Case on Sluggard.

Mr Barrington informed the Committee that this was instructed to the Works.

Mr Wormald informed the Committee that this would be included when the Sluggard was re-erected.
