RE DOUBLE ENCLOSED LIMOUSINE 9PK. (Barkers)

I have asked Barkers to have this ready for Whitsuntide and they will no doubt do so easily . If you have no objection I proposed to do what I did last year with GF68, and give the car its first run during the holiday, returning it to Barkers for any defects that may manifest themselves to be remedied before I send it up to you.

Would you therefore kindly send me some plates or a licence (not limited trade for preference).

When at Barkers I noticed that the chassis had its original private plates on . Perhaps you will think it best to renew these, as we shall ask L.H.S.{Lord Herbert Scott - Chair} to try the car on this chassis.
