The following is a specification of the solid rocker gear which is running 15,000 miles test on 32-EX. and should be included in the LOP. for the above. (1) Cylinder heads to E.88758. (2) Solid rocker gear LeC.5441 comprising the following modifications:- (a) Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}380 rockershaft with modified oiling. (b) Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}381 Rocker arm " (c) Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}382 Rocker bush " (d) E.88708 Valve guides. (e) EB.1728 Bottom valve spring washers. (f) E.88709 Top valve spring washers. (g) E.88447 exhaust valves (KE.965) (h) E.88782 Solid stem inlet valves (S/SLV) (i) Springs to be held in abeyance, until further running on 32-EX. (j) E.88500 lightened bottom tappet springs. (k) Modified tappet block and clamp LeC.5371 including:- E.88546 tappet guides. E.87336 Bottom tappets. (3) Camshaft to suit the solid rocker gear LeC.5401. E.88760 Camshaft. E.88761 Flywheel marking. (4) Simplified feed to the rockers LeC.5444 which cuts out the centre feed banjos. (5) LeC.5448 oil relief valve including the following springs:- Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}384 Main pressure. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}385 Low pressure.
