Spare Wheel Panel Cover UB. 3463.
(UB. 3614 Assembly.)

The fitting of the above part and rectification in 166 Department has been discussed with FS{F. Steele}/Wgt/ENS, and we are of the opinion that it would save the additional rectification times we are paying at present, if this part was finally fitted at the end of C.2 line, i.e. at the station where wheel discs are fitted.

Under this arrangement the spare wheel covers would be finally painted in 162 Department, and polished by the rectification waxing gangs in C.2 Shop, thereby eliminating the present rectification in 16 Shop and C.2 Shop which amounts to approximately 2 1/2 hours allowed per cover.
