y4600 c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY15/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 25.2.27. -------------------------- REAR SPARE WHEEL CARRIER. -------------------------- Further to BY2/H.22.2.27. in which, incidentally, I am not asking you to decide a policy, but merely to indicate what you had in mind when the designs were got out, another point arises as to providing a reasonable scheme for rapidly deleting from the chassis the nearside spare wheel carrier, when the spare wheel is being carried at the rear. Sales are taking exception to always carrying about a fixed bracket for carrying a spare wheel on the nearside, when such a fitment is only required when long journeys are being undertaken and a luggage grid has to be used for luggage. This matter has been put to us by LHS.{Lord Herbert Scott} Apparently it should have been discussed with Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Their attitude is that it should be less conspicuous or easily removable.
