Dear Mr. Robotham,

Yesterday I visited Mr. Ward & discussed the new project, & we agreed that it would be very difficult to give for more information than I have already given in my report of two years ago.
Before anything definite in the way of cost, equipment, & space required, can be arrived at, it is necessary that the designs, type of construction, & qualities of materials to be used should be decided.
I suggest that a meeting of the people interested would be very helpful as a preliminary.
Mr Ward is writing to you on the matter & if you will let me know what you would like, I will endeavour to fall in with your wishes.
Yours Faithfully
L F R Fell

P.S. I thought of going to Derby to see you but shortage of petrol prevented me.
