13th July, 1936.

We have sent to you a petrol tank unit which in our opinion has been subjected to some abrasive chemical. We are trying to get the history of the car in the meantime.

We should be much obliged if you could inform us what chemical or otherwise has been put in the tank.

The tank has been despatched to Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}
