Project No.4. - PD.65. sheets 1 & 2.

Project No.4. starts a new series of proposals based on the supposition that the six-light Body of B.50 have interior room of the Packard 8, and that B.50 shall be an imposing Rolls-Royce car, approximately the size of the Peregrine.

In this project the chassis aft of the dash are identical and B.50 is made from B.III. by cutting off 3.5 inches of the front end of the frame, and fitting the 3 1/4 litre C.I. engine.

B.III.
Engine, Wraith III, 4 1/4 litre.
Wheelbase 10' 4".
Dash to rear axle 89.500".
Overslung frame.
Overall height, 5' 3 1/4".
Bodies - Close Coupled Saloon.
Headroom. 47.000"
Radiator. - Bentley.

B.50.
Engine 3 1/4 litre C.I.(JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}Project)
Wheelbase 10' 1".
Dash to rear axle 89.500".
Overslung frame.
Overall height:
Saloon six-light- 5' 6"
Close Coupled Sal. 5' 5"
Headroom. 48.500"
Radiator - Rolls-Royce.

Due to the divergencies in the body heights, and the two radiator forms there seems to be no possibility of any body interchangeability between B.III and B.50.

Project No.5. PD.66.

This projects picks up Project No.3. and endeavours to make it fall in with the idea that the six-light B.50 body shall have a roomy rear compartment, equal to the Packard 8, when no division is fitted.

The radiator and front seats of B.III. are raised 1.000", and to make the six-light B.50 car, the rear of B.III. frame is increased by 6.000"
