(4) pattern provided with radiator and fan and arranged so that cooling air may be drawn from the engine compartment and discharged by means of ducting through the floor of the coach. Suitable arrangements will be made by the Railway Company to secure an unrestricted flow of air from the outside atmosphere to the engine compartment. Provision shall also be made for cooling the lubricating oil. EXHAUST. The engine exhaust shall be arranged to discharge through the roof of the coach and an efficient silencer shall be provided to ensure that the noise from this source is reduced to a minimum. FINISH. The whole equipment shall be of first class finish and pleasing appearance all exposed bright parts being chromium plated and the remainder being well rubbed down and filled and painted in an approved colour DRAWINGS. Typical outline drawings showing overall dimensions shall be submitted with the tender and after the contract is let the Contractor shall supply four copies of wiring diagrams and certified outline drawings.
