45870 Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} FWH. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ****** BY14/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 26.8.25. It will be necessary for us to balance the steering wheels on 20 HP. chassis fitted with FWB. The same material which has been issued in connection with the balancing of the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I front wheels will cover the 20 HP. The difference in size between the wheels is such as to leave the out-of-balance factors practically unaltered. The inner tube will have the same valve and the same patch for the valve, therefore this out-of-balance is the same in each case. The outer covers are very similar in dimensions and go through the same treatment, therefore the difference in out-of-balance on a 20 HP. outer cover as against a 40/50 would certainly not vary more than 20% if anything. In dealing with this matter with the Dunlop Company, will Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} kindly point out that the necessity for balancing the 20 HP. wheels is just as great as the 40/50. BY.{R.W.
