Dear Neville,

Thank you for your last letter.
I apologise for being so long in answering. I am trying to arrange for the Trials car to be loaned to you at Chester for two or three days, and will give you a ring as soon as I know if it is available.

Buying another car is a different matter, since there are none available, but before we bother any more about that it will be nice to know whether you think the other is a reasonably good motor car.
