γ 823 To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}1/MH.{M. Huckerby}4.8.38. BENTLEY 50 EXHAUST SYSTEM. Will you please make for the above, one straight thro' downtake pipe and a centre expansion box 24.00" long but of similar construction to the box fitted on 25.G.VI. When this is fitted up it will require a large hole in the cruciform to take the intermediate pipe which couples up to the rear silencer. We have dropped the battery box to make room for the rear silencer, and would like you to fit it up on the O/S of the frame and alter the wiring to suit. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G.
