LONDON, S.W.1.

Dear Sirs,

Replying to yours of the 2nd. instant, reference RD/FD{Frank Dodd - Bodies}, you do not say whether or not you would be prepared to make for us a wire having exactly the same alloy composition as "Chromel".

We do not wish to obtain our supplies from America, and we do not think there is any valid patent on "Chromel" which would restrict the manufacture of the same in England.

With regard to "Brightray" and "Mangonic" we already have full particulars of these wires.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS ROYCE LTD.
