With reference to the above. You have not as yet mentioned the effect of the reservoirs on the front and rear axles. The rear axle reservoir especially should be inspected as there is some suspicion that it may foul the gusset plate in the frame on maximum bump.

We shall be glad to know what difference the substitution of the new pump has had on the general oiling of the car and whether any difficulty has been experienced with the use of Castrol 'R'.
