| 4632 Mr. Peskett from Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 2/LG6.1.25. You will recollect recently supplying two metal blocks for a test bed in the Experimental Dept. The Froude Water Brake on this bed is in need of immediate attention. There is another brake of the same type which we believe to be in very fair condition in the Bumper Test House. We should be obliged if you could have these two brakes changed over and overhaul the one we are at present using. In addition, we should be glad if you could supply a steady for the long driving shaft on this bed, as the whip experienced is damaging the engine coupling.
