Will you please inform those responsible for the despatch of reports, to enclose them in an envelope. The literature is being read by all before they know who it is intended for here. Re notes from the various experts. Will you please initial all requests made by the above, otherwise my time will be taken up answering and doing the work of all and sundry who send notes out. With regard to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring} enquiry, re Tone Horns. If the relay is working, surely the ammeter will not show more than a 12 amp. dis-charge with full tone, to say the needle goes on the stop proves that the control is wrong. We are connected up to the ammeter and our read-ings are full tone 12 amps, town 7 to 8 amps. Our connections are O.K. We have broken the seal of the relay and inspected the cutouts. We have made sure of the earthing. They vary in tone from hour to hour, then one decides to stop altogether, then the other.
