11. 300 light steel annular pressings to be provided to act as auxiliary tyres. These to be bolted to the Michelin discs by 8 bolts .625" in diameter.

12. Special mechanical air pump, to be supplied for pumping up the tyres, for which a drive must be arranged from some part of the engine or gearbox. This pump to be fitted with special oil separator.

13. Lighting. 2 head, 2 side, 1 Tail and 1 portable electric lamp to be supplied. These are being dealt with by Bales. Side lamps to be carried on front wing. Wiring to be suitable.

14. Two extra step irons are required, to be supplied loose, with bolts and nuts for same.

15. Battery for lighting and starting purposes to be provided. This was not specified in any particular position originally, but during the course of the first fortnight Col.Hutchinson suggested carrying it inside the frame. We now await decision after submitting drawing as to whether the battery shall be inside the frame or inside the body, as Col.Hutchinson queries the ground clearance when slung in the rear of the chassis between the brake rods and the torque tube.

16. Towing hooks to be provided at the front and rear of chassis. This item was called for by Col.Hutchinson in his letter of October 5. Subsidy hooks were suggested, but as we pointed out these were quite unsuitable, it was put up to us to design the hooks and fittings.

17. War Office in their letter of October 5, also required us to supply front wings. We pointed out this was not our usual practice, but they were insistent that we should obtain same. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} has this matter in hand.

18. A hand turning gear to be arranged so that the engine can be turned round by hand for starting purposes from inside the armoured body, on the assumption that the electric starter was out of action.

19. The external oil tank with fittings not now required.

20. Standard tool kit to be supplied with each chassis.

21. Special funnel for filling petrol tank with long connecting elbow.
