We met the owner of the above car at Messrs. Park Ward's Works this morning, where the car has been left for certain details to be attended to.

Considering that the car has done 6,000 miles in Canada and the United States, we think that the condition of the body work is reasonably good.

We are particularly interested to note that there were no signs of any cracking of the front wings.

Most of the defects which have become apparent on this body, which is one of the first batch, have already been dealt with in subsequent bodies:-

(1) The corners of the roof in the front had cracked. These cracks will be welded up and the corners quirked.

(2) The front doors had dropped, due to settlement of the body and the chassis. New door buffers with an improved fitting will be substituted for the present one, and a plate on the inside of the door for the fixing of the bottom hinge will be added.

(3) The sunshine roof slide rattles. This will be cured by the addition of a spring which is now part of the standard equipment.

(4) Sunshine roof shield is torn from its fixing. The modern system of attachment by means of bolts shown on EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}S.128 will be used.

(5) In torrential rain the sunshine roof leaked water. We know that this will occur in tropical storms and it is for this reason that sunshine roofs are almost unheard of in America. To prevent water being blown over the gutters by a draught up the forward vent in the
