The total circuit resistance, however is much less and this would probably account for a proportion of the increased current, [strikethrough]light[/strikethrough].
The resistances of the R.R. motor K are as follows:-
Teazer winding .36 ohms at 18°C
Main winding .0038 " "
Armature " (taken between 90° segments) .0135 ohms " "

We have not done any brake tests yet on this motor.
