Dear Sirs,

With reference to the complaint on two Phantom III carburettor, we apologise for passing on this report as the information received from our depot proved inaccurate.

The writer understands that our Mr. Archer Test Department, has already concluded the matter with your goodselves.

Please find enclosed the collection of brass turnings that were found under the spring of the accelerator pump piston.

These were unfortunately left behind when the letter was posted.
