The above steering roller submitted by you has been examined and we find that same has not been made from a case hardening steel. Hardness tests carried out in centre of cross section of roller C64/65. Micro-examination confirmed that the roller had no case and that the material from which it was made was similar to our Ball race steel i.e. High Carbon Chromium Steel. HL. / HC | ||
