Continental P.III - 39-EX.

Herewith a list of the departures from standard on this car.

CHASSIS.

(1) Frame, cross and pan of .080 material instead of .104.

(2) Alum. front spring housings and frame distance pieces.

(3) Wraith type steering box and lightened steering levers.

(4) Continental P.II rear road springs.

(5) Thinner Bonnet.

(6) Lighter gauge petrol tank.

(7) Alum. rear brake drums and simplified brake layout.

(8) Lighter radiator.

(9) Lighter exhaust system.

(10) Magnesium gearbox casting and clutch pit. The former will be superseded by the final overdrive box.

(11) Lightened body brackets and bumper bars.

(12) Lockheed Jacks.

ENGINE.

(a) Lightened Packard type crankshaft.

(b) Hall's metal bearings.

(c) 20/25 dynamo running faster.
