ENGINE CYLINDER LINERS.

HL tells us, I understand, that .6 carbon steel liners, hardened to spring temper, would make better engines for reliability and durability, and this seems well within practical possibilities in the near future. I should welcome this until we can get something still better for hardness and expansion co-efficient.
