RE: SHOP DRAWINGS We wish to draw your attention to the practice of adding pencil notes and altering dimensions on D.O. blueprints in order to have produced non-standard pieces for experimental test purposes. This practice, for which the Test People are chiefly responsible, leads to confusion in the Shop and should be discontinued at once. If it is necessary to produce special pieces then the correct thing to do is to have issued EX or Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} drawings covering the required alterations so that any departure from standard can be recorded for future reference.
