G1/SL D.W.S. PERMANENT JACKS.
Origin.
To facilitate jacking up the car.
Experimental Test Report.
It is almost impossible to use an ordinary jack under the rear axle of a Phantom II car.
The permanent jack has become almost a necessity on large cars.
Road Test Report.
Fitted to 19-EX. ran 20,000 miles. The jacks were damaged and in one case lost due to insufficient ground clearance. The modified type give 2" more ground clearance than those used on this car.
