The stamping of D.W.S. Jacks with the letter 'P' to identify correct sets from faulty ones.

Lidsey}6/KT.23.3.33, in order to make quite certain that the Jacks we are now fitting are the correct ones, we have arranged for the twelve sets in the Stores to be stamped with the letter 'P' on the operating shaft tube about 3" from the extreme end. When returning the faulty Jacks tothe makers will you please ask them to stamp the letter 'P' on the shaft tube after correction, also all new Jacks they supply should be stamped.
