E.A.C. 'V' SERIES.

In view of our lengthy discussion during our tests with PN.{Mr Northey} and CWB. on the subject of clutch difficulties on 98-NK, I did not include these in BJ6/H13.2.25, as I understand you will be dealing with the matter with R.{Sir Henry Royce}, both in regard to the slipping and the difficulty of entirely disengaging owing to room for adjustment, which I need not go into in detail.

Of course this clutch matter is of just as much, if not more, importance than the stiffness of steering and explosions in the exhaust, all of which items would be bound to cause serious complaints from customers.
