The test results to far are favourable to obtaining further supplies of suitable thicknesses (cloth base Bakelaque) for incorporating in units on experimental cars in order that shrinkage and other characteristics may be ascertained before its adoption as standard. Note. The estimated voltage at which the paper Bakelaque sample broke down on the leakage test is consistent with the figure obtained in the second test on another sample.
