PHANTOM CHASSIS - FRONT AXLE CONTROL DAMPERS.
----------------------------------------

With reference to CWB9/GM.4.10.28. we could not place the front axle control dampers nearer to the ends of the axle without considerably modifying the steering mechanism. The vertical lever which is secured to the front axle is already as close as possible to the side steering tube and cannot be moved further out without reducing the length of the side steering lever.

There are several factors which limit the length of the side steering lever, but we will put your suggestion up to WW. so that they can take same into consideration when producing a further design or any alteration to the present axle.
