x761 S/W To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re 80-MS. Mr.Thomas. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}10/E10.10.35 Thanks for Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/KW.9.10.35 and the information given. I assume from the penultimate paragraph that you have made it clear to Mr.Thomas that his brakes were being flooded with oil? If so, please do not trouble to reply and I merely raise it because in a letter to me he says that the brake drums were taken down in his presence and were found to be smothered in oil, with the inference that it is our fault!
