Now that the standardisation sheet is actually being sent round to standardise the new type of Watford magneto, it is important that we should obtain say six of these as early as possible. This would enable us to allow the Test Dept. to get some advance experience on this type of magneto, so that if they have any comments to make they can be made early. Will you therefore place an order with Messrs. North & Sons Ltd. for the magnetos in question, and ask them to let us have them as early as possible. You will see from my letter to Messrs. North & Sons Ltd. (copy of which is attached) that I have warned them that we are likely to want the new magneto in the near future, and have asked them what the position is. BY.{R.W.
